Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have swam across Loch Lomond from Inversnaid to Inveruglas for the last 2 years, I supported Macmillan Cancer Support in 2016 & then Woodlands Hospice in 2017.

I am completing the swim for the last time this year and have decided to do it for a local charity based in Waterloo, The Plaza Community Cinema.

The Plaza is a great Community Asset and is reliant on Donations and Volunteers to stay open. It is more than just a cinema. Jan Dunn and her team of staff and volunteers have worked hard to keep the cinema open and do a great job.

The business Crosby Intruder Alarms who I am Operations Manager for has supported the Plaza for over 20 years but I felt that this year I wanted to do something personally for them.

The swim will take place on 5th August 2018.

Thanks for reading my story and I thank you in advance of your sponsorship.
