I have decided to dedicate this mammoth undertaking to the late great Mr Malcolm Royle. A man who in life was the epitome of kindness and all that is good. For the past 9 years Malcolm fought the terrible and debilitating effects of a rare type of Dementia tenaciously and with true spirit. Malcolms family, the most selfless people I have ever had the pleasure to meet, supported Malcolm in the family home 24/7, and ther love and commitment to him never faltered. 

I supported Malcolm for 5 years.........and what a man he was!! That charismatic charm, tenacity and spirit was there until the day the big man passed. It was a pleasure to support such a great man and to be accepted by the family in the way I have been....an incredible family, selfless beyond comprenhsion. 

This is why I have chosen to do the Bike Ride for this organisation.......statistically,  more people are affected by Dementia than cancer, yet it receives less that 1/6 of the funding. Please support me to raise a little extra for the cause.
