OK... it's now or never...

As some of you may know, I'm very honoured to be the patron of ASSERT. A UK based charity that supports and helps families and carers of people with Angelman Syndrome, a cause that is very close to my heart ever since my niece Ella was diagnosed with the condition. 

For those who are unfamiliar with this rare genetic condition, Angleman Syndrome is a chromosome disorder that causes severe learning difficulties. Many of the children grow up unable to fully walk or talk, and will require looking after throughout their lives.

So I've decided it's about time I got off my arse and tried to raise some money... and so it seemed entirely appropriate to run a marathon in the 'City of Angels' 

I'm going to double the total amount that is raised. So please give generously and help try and bankrupt me!
