Story
Myself, Romarni and Fraser will be running the British 10k on the 13th July, 2014. We are all young Christians who go to the sixth form at St Edward's School in Romford. Myself and Romarni are 17, whilst baby Fraser is still 16!
In May 2013, Romarni's mother passed away suddenly due to an unexplained brain aneurysm. Ever since, she's been committed to helping the charity, Brain Research Trust, an underfunded organisation specialising in projects at UCL Institute of Neurology, which aim to improve treatments, whilst diagnosing and ultimately curing neurological conditions that affect more than 10 million people in the UK.
I felt strongly about doing something to help Romarni, the rest of her family and the charity, so decided to run this year's British 10k, to raise money. I then asked Romarni and Fraser if they'd run with me, to help us raise as much money as possible. This charity also holds great significance for myself, because of the charity's work investigating strokes, after my dad suffered one last year.
If any of you want to sponsor us, that would be fantastic! Every little helps, and all donations will be so appreciated. With your help we can take this charity a step further to being able to find cures for these illnesses.
For any more info, please email, text or ring myself, Fraser or Romarni. Also, if you're at St Edwards you can give us money in school if you wish. Also, you can sponsor us by texting EDMV and an amount to 70070, for example EDMV £5 to 70070.
