My entry is now for the 2021 event due to Covid!

So I’ve just gone way out of my comfort zone and got a charity place on the Lakeland 50 for July 2020. This is a 50 mile ultra trail challenge across the Lake District. It’s 3000m of ascent, 50 miles and has to be completed within 24hrs. I’m no fell runner, but will attempt to walk this in the given time. I’ll be supporting the event’s charity a local charity Epic Kidz from the North West. I’m suitably scared and going to spend the next 11 months attempting to get myself into a position that I have a fighting chance of getting round. It’s gonna hurt.
