As experienced runners we were looking for a special event to raise money for this charity.  We have ran marathons and a number of diverse races before but nothing as crazy as this.

Endure24 will be our ultimate challenge. My dream is 100 miles in 24 hours with Catherine hoping for 50 miles. This will be a massive distance Personal Best for us both and a big leap into the unknown. We have dedicated our training this year with this goal in mind. 

Kerry and Anna ran Endure24 last year and are hoping to tick off even bigger distances!!  

The charity is extremely important to us because last year they saved the life of our very close friend,  Kerry’s partner Rob. He suffered a major heart attack during a race at Allendale and is only alive today thanks to the GNAA.  

Knowing we are doing the challenge for this cause will help us all dig deep and help motivate us to keep moving forwards when the going gets tough.

Amazingly GNAA receives no government funding and relies on charitable donations. Getting treatment quickly and to the nearest hospital saves lives.  GNAA attend road accidents and health crises anywhere that would normally take too long for a normal ambulance to arrive.
