Dear all

This year, in aid of the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity, I will be taking part in both the Royal Parks Half Marathon (13 October) and the London Marathon (26 April) 2020. A combined distance of over 60km!

I only took up running less than a year ago (traditionally I stick to sports such as golf, cricket, darts - even in football I made sure I was a goalkeeper...) and I am still yet to run any of the required distances - so this will all be quite a challenge!

I'd be very grateful for any donations you can give, and also any time you can take to learn a little about the work of the Rainbow Trust...

Rainbow Trust Children's Charity enables families who have a child with a life threatening illness to make the most of precious time together; providing expert practical and emotional support, where they need it, for as long as it is needed. £26 will provide one hour of care, enough time to entertain a seriously ill child so that their parents can have a break.
