Look I know it's not a marathon. But I have to start somewhere with this competitive running lark.  Waking up at 7 o'clock on Sunday morning will be a challenge enough as it is.  Was just going to run the race just to get a free tinfoil sheet, lucozade sport and a medal for my trouble but then I thought, what wonderful opportunity for you lot (my friends) to give to charity at the same time. Win win. (You can thank me later)

Please can you give what you can.  If you're of the "It's only a half marathon" mindset, please only give me half the donation that you would for a full sized marathon.

Since you're such a generous lot, I'm going to thank you all in advance and I promise won't bother you as much as I did during my 'Dryathlon' (But bloody hell, that was difficult)

Next time it will be a proper marathon I promise, then followed John O'Groats to Lands End bikeride (well maybe)
