Christian Aid Week 2021
Campaign by Christian Aid (RCN 1105851 (England & Wales), SC039150 (Scotland))
Drought drives people to the brink. Storms tear families apart. Raging waters show no mercy. In Kenya the climate crisis has made weather more extreme, whether long drought or relentless rainstorms. Join us this Christian Aid Week (10th -16th) May!

Story

The present global crisis is leaving people hungry, homeless and heartbroken. Jen Bishop is doing everything she can to earn the money for her children's education.    She is growing a miracle crop - pigeon peas.    But food, fuel, fertiliser and school fees have doubled in price in Malawi in the last 12 months.    Harvests are failing due to the climate crisis.

Please support GARGUNNOCK PARISH CHURCH's fundraising and help Jen plant more pigeon peas - a hardy, drought -resistant crop to help Jen, and mothers like her, to provide for their children's future.  Your gift will help support Christian Aid's vital work with some of the poorest communities in the world.    Thank you!
