The on-going conflict in Yemen is devastating lives. According to UNHCR, there are now over 1,439,100 internally displaced people. This is triple the previous record number of 545,000 internally displaced people (IDPs) recorded in 2012.

It’s estimated that 21.2 million people – a staggering 82% of Yemen’s population- require some kind of humanitarian assistance. Some 14.4 million people are food insecure, 19.3 million people lack adequate access to clean water or sanitation and 320,000 children are malnourished.
