Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
For those that are not aware, I was diagnosed with Lupus at the age of 18, and since then although i've manage to live as much of a normal life as possible and stay positive, there are times when it is hard to get out of bed to just get on with my day. For those that do know me well... you've seen how this has affected me over the years!
There is not a cure for this condition but generally Lupus sufferers have their condition controlled by a concoction of medication, which in turn can have some nasty side effects.
I'm jumping out of a plane on the 17th of September 2011 (with a parachute of course) to raise some money to help the good work of St Thomas' hospital, who house the only Lupus Clinic in the UK and is the largest Lupus unit in Europe. The money will go towards the continual research of Lupus (and maybe one day develop a wonder drug to rid the condition; I can dream). So if you have a few spare pounds to spare i'd be most grateful for your support.
So please dig deep and donate now.
If you wish to find out more about the condition... here's a link which explains about the condition http://www.uklupus.co.uk/
