.The Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund is raising money specifically in support of the many Royal Marines who have been seriously injured in recent conflicts.
We are all aware of the dangers encountered in Afghanistan and Iraq specifically the horrific injuries sustained from Improvised Explosive Devices.
With 45 and 42 Commandos' now deployed, one of them being my son, Jake, this is our chance to give a little, to help those that constantly give so much.
So to start my own 2011 'tour', on the 16/17th September I will be joining a group of supporters, to walk from Princetown to Bickleigh over Dartmoor approximately 12 miles in aid of The Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund. If you could find just £1.00, it would be greatly appreciated. These pounds really do make a difference.
Why the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund?
The Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund helps Royal Marines and their families when they need it most. They aid the wounded and injured. They give quality of life to those returning from operations. And when the worst happens, they support the families of those who die in service. The RMCTF has the widest purposes of almost any service charity - quite simply, the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund will help when others cannot.
Please help us help our wounded.
