In memory of Silas Pullen
We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

I will be participating in a self supported Grand to Grand Ultra course in Utah, USA, which covers approx.170 miles spread over 6 stages in 7 days. We will encounter a mix of desert and other terrain including hard packed sand, sand dunes, red rock climbs, rocky roads, slot canyons and rattle snakes!

This is in honour and in aid of a very good friend's son, Silas, a young boy whose life was taken away before his time. He tragically died of a Brain tumour and here is why I pledge and ask you to donate to this worthy cause.

Brain tumours are the biggest Cancer killer of children and receive very little funding – this needs to change. When Silas relapsed, he was put on drugs that were 40 years old, they didn't work then and don't work now. We would like these children to have more up to date access to medicine, to give them a chance of a cure. So all the money given to the Silas Pullen fund goes straight into driving innovative research for paediatric high grade gliomas so that we can find more treatments.

The brain tumour charity have ambitious plans to double the survival of brain tumour patients over the next 10 years.

Please donate what you can.
