Story
I am organising a charity football match in memory of my Dad who sadly passed
away suddenly due to a heart attack in September 2016 – all money raised will
go to The British Heart Foundation and will help fund live saving research.
On the 1st September 2016 our life’s changed forever, Dad a popular Painter and Decorator went to work as normal and was looking forward to his impending retirement and celebrating his 40th wedding anniversary but he never returned home as during the day suffered a major heart attack and passed away suddenly.
Life doesn’t get any easier but gets different, Dad is missed by many people and has left a huge whole in our lives.
The charity match will help raise funds for The British Heart foundation and money will
help fund live saving research. Heart Disease is the biggest killer in the UK
and I thank BHF for its fantastic research and I know that funds that raised
during the match will go to support and safe lives in the UK.
Dad loved his football and it is great that my friends and family will be part
of the match .I would like to thank Rob Bradley and Lincoln United for kindly
hosting the match for us .
On the night we will be doing a raffle, have a BHF awareness stand with important literature and advice and also offer a lifesaving CPR session and there will be an
appearance from Mr Hearty – The BHF mascot .
