Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Gary Connell,41 and live in Uddingston.Ive ran 112 Half and 25 Full Marathons to date and thought it was time to raise the bar even higher and complete in my 1st ever Ultramarathon slog which consists of me running/jogging on the Treadmill for 24 Hours non stop( apart from a few mins here and there) to raise funds for Hilton Foundation & Yorkhill Childrens Hospital which would provide more funds for much neeeded upgrade to facilities at Yorkhill and to provide funds to help underprivalleged children for Hilton Foundation. This challenge will take place at Livingwell Health Club on Sat 19th May @ 4pm and go right through to Sun 20th May @ 4pm! I thank you all for reading my story and hope you can help me support my 2 chosen charities and put a smile on the childrens faces who need it most!

I also ask anyone who may want to attend on the day/night to pop along and give me support then your more than welcome as this will be the toughest test of my running career going way back to 1987!

Many thanks
