Virgin London Marathon 2016 · 24 April 2016 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
After running my first 10k less than 3 years ago it is amazing that I am even attempting to run a full marathon in 2016 but unfortunately I managed to get a place through the ballot for the London Marathon.
This gives me the perfect opportunity to try and raise money for a charity closer to home which is why I have chosen Meadow House Hospice.
Meadow House Hospice is the centre for the Ealing and Hounslow Specialist Palliative Care Service. Established in 1987 by Maria Brennan MBE, the Service currently provides care and support to palliative care patients and their families in the London Boroughs of Ealing and Hounslow.
Whilst they are part funded by the NHS they also provide additional support for which they rely on generous donations (hint, hint).
Full details of the services they provide are available here:

I appreciate money is tight these days and there are many worthy causes out there but if you could support me I would be most grateful whether that is through a donation or just words of encouragement to help me through the next 4 months of training.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
