After my outing for the Edinburgh half marathon in May last year,
I promised myself that I wouldn't subject myself to another half marathon and in that respect I have been true to my word! After the festive excess in December, myself and good friend Andy Watt decided that with summer only round the corner we needed something to focus on and drop a few pounds / stone, so we signed up to the Belfast Marathon - felt like a good idea at the time!

However, as my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2016, I felt it was worth while doing it for charity. As such, we have decided to support Action Cancer, who Andy's mum also previously worked for.
