Gary's Freefalling for CHAS

Freefalling · 6 April 2019
Some of you may remember that a year ago I marked my 50th birthday by trying to raise £1000 for charity (Maggies Centres) . Thanks to all who contributed :) It was so very much appreciated and you raised £902! ... although missing the target has sat heavy with me for a year, and I really need to do something about that... don't I !? ;)
So as they say, ' The only way to do it, is to do it'. The quickest and simplest solution was to ask you to sponsor me to jump out of a plane at 10000ft at 120mph for charity? Now I know some of you will gladly see me jump out a plane for free (!), but I will be visiting the Auchterarder Skydiving DropZone in April (Jump fees paid for by myself) and any and all monies you may wish to donate will go straight to 'CHAS'
I appreciate that I've been able to do so many of the things I wanted to at this point in my life, and so many kids never get that chance - For over twenty years 'Children's Hospices Across Scotland' have been offering a family support service for babies, children and young people with life-shortening conditions. This includes palliative care, family respite and support through our hospices, homecare services and hospital presence.
