Gary’s 100k walk to raise awareness of MND · 13 February 2021

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

My name is Gary Rowlands I’m 48 years old and was diagnosed with MND in February 2020. I want to raise awareness of this incurable and life shortening illness.

I have been wanting to raise funds for a long time and had been patiently waiting for Covid-19 to go, however as you’re all aware it is not going away anytime soon.

I plan to walk 100k over the next 6 weeks to raise much needed money for this fantastic charity who provide support to myself and my family and many other families throughout Northern Ireland .

All funds raised will be for the Northern Ireland Branch of the MND Association
