Story

Hello

I'm Gary

And I'm an Aberdeen fan

We're all missing going to the Fitba so starting on Sunday 20th December I will be going on some Away Days of my own, aiming to raise some money for a charity that is close to the hearts of many Dons fans.

I will travel from my home in Elgin, Moray to wherever  Aberdeen are playing, run a 10k during the first half, rest during half time, then run the same 10k during the second half.

*Covid-19 disclaimer - I am travelling to these venues alone, without stopping and will be taking my own food from home so will not come into contact with any individuals from different Tiers*

***UPDATE***

19th December - following stricter guidance from the Scottish Government I’ll not be travelling and instead will do the first few runs around Stadiums in Moray

I hope to do this across 11 away venues in Scotland, I will then end by doing a half marathon starting and ending at Pittodrie on our last home game of the season.

My 'Double 10k' schedule so far:

20th Dec - Killie (running from Elgin City instead)

23rd Dec - Motherwell (running from Lossiemouth FC instead)

16th Jan - Ross County (running from Forres Mechanics instead)

27th Jan - St Johnstone (running from Buckie Thistle instead)

30th Jan - Livingston (running from Rothes FC instead)

6th Feb - Hibs (running from Keith FC instead)

17th Feb - Celtic (running from Elgin Thistle instead)

20th Mar - Dundee Utd (running from Elgin City instead)

10th Apr -  St Johnstone (running from Buckie Thistle instead)

1st May - Livingston (running from Lossiemouth FC instead)

15th May - The Rangers (running from Elgin City instead)

All monies raised will go to the Aberdeen FC Community Trust
