Story
On Sunday 4th October I'll be running London's 2020 marathon in a different way, the virtual way. My own way.
I have designed a course and I'm almost ready to run it since I'm now at the tapering stage (week 15 of a 16 week training programme) and can see light at the end of the tunnel.
I've decided to raise money in the process and thought of no other charity than Cocoon Family Support which provides parents with support who are affected by Perinatal Illness. A good friend of mine works there and it sounded like a no brainer to support her and the team during this difficult time where they still provide services to parents very much in need.
My run will start at Hampton Court Palace at 10:00am and finish at the Peace Pagoda in Battersea Park anytime between 13:45-14:00pm (God willing). The route is available on my Strava account. Tracking will be through a soon to be released London marathon app (i think!) but will also be on my Garmin app should I include you in (by request only).
Come out give me a wave if you're close by.
Thanks for your support. Hope to see you at the Pagoda.
