Wheels for All aims to provide cycling initiatives to all members of the community. We provide a wide range of adapted cycles and activities that are fun and stimulating, making cycling an option for adults and children with physical or learning difficulties.

Story

Dear Friend

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We're raising money for Cycling Projects a charity providing cycling opportunities to disabled children and adults.

We are riding the Ride London 100 route in a couple of weeks time to raise money for Cycling Projects. As neither of us share any physical similarities to Chris Froome our "training" has been quite a challenge so far.

My daughter (Libby Jones) has had epilepsy since the age of 4. This year Libby was diagnosed with Focal Cortical Dysplasia - a congenital brain lesion which is causing her seizures. It is not easily controlled by medicines and surgery is now the only real option. This has been a life changer for the whole family. On a bad day Libs can have more than 10 seizures. She now struggles to walk more than a few meters, has very broken sleep, and misses out on lots of fun. Despite this she remains amazingly cheerful and full of beans.

We have only recently found this fabulous charity called Cycling Projects (Wheels for All) which provides access to a range of bikes for disabled children and adults alike. For most (including Libby) this is their only real access to sport and outdoor exercise that they can safely do. All monies raised will go to the Surrey based group that run two centres in Epsom and Woking on a regular basis.

Thank so much for your help.
