Story

As many people already know, My husband Gary suffered a sever Ischemic Stroke at age 56.

It was catastrophic and happened in a second, no warning and no turning the clock back.

He suffered right side paralysis, throat paralysis, long and short term memory loss, speech loss, loss of peripheral vision, incontinence, chronic Aphasia which meant he couldn’t read or understand simple commands. He spent 6 months in a rehab clinic.

2 1/2 years on our journey now and recovery is progressing, it’s a tough journey, which is why we want to raise funds so that they can understand better why these strokes happen to all age groups.

Prevention is the way forward, recovery is the hard road.

Please make Gary’s effort worthwhile, counting is taken for granted by us, it’s a difficult exercise for him but he has been determined to do it. Thanks in anticipation.
