Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Sadly last year our Uncle cliff passed away suddenly after previously having brain surgery. Cliff was a keen cyclist and I was lucky enough to inherit his Mountain bike which I've put to good use. I've done hundreds of miles in the last few months and those that know my hamstring woes would know how good the cycling has been for me. I've been accepted to ride for the Prudential RideLondon 100 mile cycling event and it would be great if we could raise some money in his memory. All funds raised will go towards the Brain Research Trust which is a more than worthy cause. Doing 100 miles on a mountain bike will be by no means a walk in the park and having various timed checkpoints and a maximum finish time of 8 hours it's going to make it that extra bit harder. Thank you again for looking and any donations whatsoever will be much appreciated. Wish me luck!
**Update**
Last July I broke my leg quite severely on a motorcycle on a track in Germany stopping me from doing the event. This year I'm back to do it. I've had a lot less training than last year but my leg has mostly healed and I'm feeling optimistic. Thanks already for all the donations so far and with a few more hopefully we can beat the £1000 mark. All the money goes to a great cause. Please visit https://www.brt.org.uk
