London Landmarks Half Marathon 2024 · 7 April 2024 ·
As most people know I am not a runner, the most I have run is 5km and that to kicking and screaming. I love to push myself out of my comfort zone hence why I am running this half marathon in aide of Missing People.
In 2016, my cousin, Shubham, was in his final year of university, months away from graduating when he went missing. He was not only my cousin but he was also my best friend and not a day goes by where I don’t think of him and wonder what happened to him.
I wish I had come across Missing People in 2016 when I needed them the most when I was struggling with his disappearance. Everyone I have spoken to at the charity has been incredible, offering help to me to deal with my loss even 7 years on, which is why I know they are the charity I will be raising money for.
