Our registered charity is hosting a cycle challenge from London to Amsterdam covering 320 miles in 5 days, from 11-15 August 2015. The funds will be used to support various feeding schemes in Africa and Asia, including ‘JAM’ , Africa and ‘Feed the Child’ , Pakistan.
JAM ministries international fight against hunger and malnutrition in Africa. Each year JAM provides millions of nutritious meals to
thousands of hungry children through their Nutritional Feeding Programme at schools. To
complete feeding initiatives, Jam has adopted a holistic approach to development through a Complete Community Development Approach (CCDA), which has seen the development and implementation of Water, and Sanitation and Agricultural Development Programmes. These programmes are sustainably designed to produce results and change in the battle against water and food insecurity, and thus achieving JAM’s mission of Helping Africa Help Itself.

CRC Pakistan’s ‘Feed the Child’ scheme focuses on feeding mainly children from impoverished families in slavery to the brick-making trade in Pakistan. An estimated two million child labourers also work for up to 14 hours a day, six days a week in brickmaking kilns, lacking basic rights and access to social security. In a country now ranked as having the third highest prevalence of modern-day slavery according to the 2013 Global Slavery Index report, CRC Pakistan aims to bring relief by providing food daily to victims of this trade.
