I am a consultant paediatric rheumatologist at Alder Hey Children's Hospital and am running the event with my son Matt. Throughout my career I have worked with children and young people with autoimmune disease and have seen 1st hand the impact these conditions can have on patients and families. It has been an immense honour to support F.A.I.R and work with the other trustees to raise money to support several successful research projects to date. 

F.A.I.R funds vital early stage research projects, often enabling research teams to develop long term programmes of work. Please be assured your donation will be used directly to support historically under-funded research into autoimmune diseases
