Once again I am taking part in the annual Swimathon to raise finds for the vital work done by Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie cancer care. I am mindful that it wasn't that long ago that I asked for sponsorship for last year's Swimathon and I am so thankful to everyone who kindly chipped in, but I am now asking you to please dig deep and do so again. 

This year feels quite different, having very recently lost a dear friend to cancer, and I am determined to do whatever I can to help support the treatment and care for those afflicted by this relentless disease.

On 7 May 2022, I will be one of over 21,000 swimmers will be heading to over 300 pools across the UK to raise money for these two amazing charity partners.Together we can really make a difference.
