As both our jobs involve working with people, in particular young children, we can both appreciate the importance of being able to hear spoken language and the need for good communication skills. We also see the impact that having just a mild hearing loss can have on language development in both our daughters. Therefore the work that The Ear Trust does to support the provision of Cochlear Implants at The Listening for Life Centre in Bradford is important to us. The money raised will help both children and adults (from 0-90 years+!) to have support from the multidisciplinary team at the centre.

We have only recently taken up running (more seriously) and this will be our first 10K race, but we are up for a challenge!!
