Hi everyone, 

After spending weeks of isolation working on my Joe Exotic impressions, getting dominated in Risk, relearning French and finding all sorts of things to buy on Amazon (paddling pool and unicorn included), I thought I might try and find a way to support our NHS.

Given that I can't put on the goggles and cap and chuck out a couple of lengths, I thought I'd give rowing a crack.

The English Channel is 33km wide at its most narrow point. 

The furthest I have rowed is no more than 12km. Therefore, I am going to row the English Channel with all my inexperience. Calluses and crying are to be expected.

If you can spare a few pounds, your money will go towards helping our NHS deal with this awful Corona virus and push me all the way to the sandy beaches of Normandy.
