We
are extremely saddened and appalled by the scenes that we are
witnessing from Gaza every day. The situation is deteriorating daily for the
thousands of men, women, children and the elderly who have been caught
up in the daily bombardment. Medics in Gaza have already stated that
they are struggling to cope with the demand on services and to reach
those most in need. The situation has become catastrophic as the relentless bombardment of civilians in Gaza is not yet stopped. We urge the world leaders to come together to broker a ceasefire at
the earliest opportunity.
UK Islamic Mission is raising money for the Palestinian people of Gaza, with all proceeds going towards providing humanitarian aid and medical supplies.
Our thoughts and prayers go out for our brethren in Gaza during this blessed month of Ramadan, and we pray that Allah alleviates their pain and suffering. We ask the community to remember those who are affected by the recent events in Gaza in your prayers.
