Epilepsy Action is creating a world without limits for everyone affected by epilepsy, connecting people with others, and providing support and information you can trust. We’re calling out the misunderstanding, prejudice and barriers that stop people with epilepsy living their best life.

Story

Dear family and friends

Richard and GB have dusted off their running shoes and squeezed into their running kit to raise funds for Epilepsy Action.  RP ran for EA three years ago and GB two years ago.  We decided it was time to give it another go.  Fund-raisers are encouraged to write personal stories about their chosen charities.  There is nothing really new on this front... but in case you have forgotten / dont know...  I have had a tendency to have a seizure to two (or three) in the old days and have been very reliant on the support of friends and family.  I have been 'seizure free' for more than two years now (sounds like a habit of addiction).  Not everyone is so fortunate.  EA provide fantastic support and advocacy for people with epilepsy and their carers.  Please give as you can.  Thank you.

Much love, Gerard and Richard
