At a time of such adversity and uncertainty, we are encouraged by our beloved messenger (pbuh) to trust in the wisdom of Allah and to increase in our worship of Salat and Du'a, and to also give in Sadaqah.

Through such acts of worship, the blessings and Rahmah of Allah descends.

As many of you will be aware, Great Barr Muslim Foundation are still in debt of around £200,000 of which we need to pay back £60,000 by the end of September this year.

To date, we have been able to honour our deadlines thanks to your generous donations and continued support.

Your Masjid, GBMF, has been reliant on the funds raised at Jum'ah to maintain the running of the Masjid day-to-day.

Now, due to the lockdown with no Jum'ah Salah being held, and with the uncertainty that lies ahead for the foreseeable future, as well as the uncertainty of how our Ramadhan will be spent as a Masjid. The collection of much needed funds will be heavily impacted.

Last Ramadhan we were overwhelmed by the generosity of our local community as well as globally with the support that we received.

With that said, our efforts of raising funds, and then reliance on Allah is how we firmly believe that Insha-Allah we will pull through and the house of Allah will be supported.

Great Barr Muslim Foundation has been a hub for the community with many activities, programmes, courses and classes taking place for people of all age groups.

We are now reaching out for your help and support for the upkeep of the Masjid.

Sadaqah brings Barakah to one’s health, wealth and alleviates hardships.
