I started running on April 1st 2021, partly to have an excuse to leave the house. My current goal is to run a proper 10K, but that's pretty selfish.

I thought, if I'm going to fork over an entry fee, I might as well make others pay some money as well, and give that money to something worthwhile. We the Curious is a local charity (and a great science museum) who also support widening participation in STEM---the money you donate here will go straight to them, and everything is set up for Gift Aid.

And to give you a reason to donate, for each donated pound, I will add 10g of sand to a backpack I'll be wearing during the race (up to 10kg).
