Specsavers Walk for Home · 20 April 2023

Walk for a missing loved one... for your brother, sister, mum, dad, grandparent, friend or colleague. Whoever you choose to walk for, you can ensure anyone affected by missing gets the support they deserve.

Story

Walking in Hope is a sponsored walk, bringing people together to walk in solidarity with those affected by missing.

Walking in Hope can :

1) Make a positive change for families facing the trauma of a missing loved one

2) Create awareness for our cause and help people better understand how missing affects families

3) Raise funds for support services to ensure we can continue to support more families affected by missing.

This year, Missing People are looking to encourage at least 30 families and organisations to Walk in Hope to mark the charity's 30th Anniversary helping to raise a target of £30k.  This fantastic amount could help pay for a support worker for a whole year, who could help more families.

Specsavers Group Customer Engagement team is delighted to support this amazing organisation by walking 10 miles along the Hamble River loop from Bursledon.
