GCP will be taking part in the Impetus Private Equity Triathlon 2019 to help raise money, so this fantastic charity can help close the gaps in education and employment.

The figures are stark with over 2 million young people living in poverty in Britain today. Young people from poor families are half as likely to gain essential English and maths GCSEs and go onto higher education compared to their better off peers. They are three times less likely to be in a job or course after leaving school. Impetus has developed an approach to get the right support to young people through partnering with charities to provide the funding and strategic support to help them deliver on their aim of ensuring every young person can succeed.

We are taking part in three events to help raise as much money as we can for Impetus.

We have two teams who will be taking place in the CVC Olympic Team Triathlon (1500m swim, 42.4km cycle, 10km run) and 1 person doing the PwC Sprint Team Triathlon (400m swim, 21.2km cycle, 5km run)
