The Great CATTs Climb · 1 May 2020 to 31 May 2020 ·

Join us for the sponsored CATTs Climb where in 4 weeks (or less) you can climb Mount Kilimanjaro from the comfort of your staircase!

Story

Over May, four of our team members will be attempting to climb the equivalent of Mount Kilimanjaro in their own homes (38,680 stairs!).

The other two unfortunately can't carry out the climb at a safe social distance. Instead they will be running the distance of climbing Kilimanjaro via the longest route, the Northern Circuit (97km). This may seem easy to some, but as newly rejuvenated lock-down runners, it certainly doesn't seem easy to them!

Here at CATTs we're all about making sure young people know the common signs and symptoms of cancer. We encourage people to be familiar with their bodies, and to keep an eye out for any signs that could indicate something is wrong. We encourage anyone who notices these signs to go and see a doctor and share their concerns.

Around 5,100 people between the ages of 15 -29 are diagnosed with cancer every year, hence the need for young people to be aware of their health and feel comfortable enough to go to the doctor.
