At Macmillan, we will move mountains to help people with cancer live life as fully as they can. We’re doing whatever it takes. But without your help we can’t support everyone who needs us. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

The Camino Frances is part of a very old pilgrim walk to Santiago de Compostela. It starts in St Jean Pied de Port, in France, and is nearly 800 km, or 500 miles, long across the Pyrenees and northern Spain. This is a walk that has been waiting for me to get on and do it for a long time. Now I am making the time to fulfill one of my life long ambitions. I know now, more than ever, you should grasp every opportunity when it presents itself (carpe diem).

Unfortunately (or maybe not) Annie and the girls will be without me during the summer break. Hopefully I will be back without any breaks, only blisters, but most importantly others in need of Macmillan support will benefit.
