The Accenture Y3P Team are delighted to be fundraising for Prevent Breast Cancer, a fantastic charity focussed on predicting and preventing the disease. We are a team of 24 aiming to complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks in 12 hours, thats 24 miles in a circular hike around the Yorkshire Dales three highest peaks. Covid has postponed this event twice, so we are raring to go, each member will be aiming to raise a minimum of £100 each to maximise the sponsorship matching by our company Accenture, who also support us by allowing time each year to raise money for charitable causes. Prevent Breast Cancer is the only UK charity entirely dedicated to the prediction and prevention of breast cancer were committed to freeing the world from the disease altogether. Unlike many cancer charities, were focused on preventing, rather than curing. Promoting early diagnosis, screening and lifestyle changes, we believe we can stop the problem before it starts. And being situated at the only breast cancer prevention centre in the UK, were right at the front-line in the fight against the disease.
