We are raising funds to ship 10 Articulated Trucks with aid and supplies to Ukrainian on front line and to Ukrainian Refugees in Moldova.

Story

Since 25.02.2022 we loaded up and dispatched more than 70 vehicles of essential supplies. Now we pivoted from helping refugee reception centres in Poland and Germany to delivering medical aid to Lviv, Kyiv, Odesa or Chisinau, filling local needs for particular items. They cannot be purchased within Ukraine or failed to arrive from expected sources.

  • thyrotoxicosis (L-thyroxin),
  • hemostatics & catheters,
  • emergency contraception up to 10 weeks,
  • cancer, psychiatric & COVID treatment,
  • children’s medicines,
  • insulin for diabetes management

Right now we have 3 different hospitals in Kyiv, the Health Authority of Zaporizhia and the Governor of Vinnytsia all awaiting y/our help. We already have Green Corridors, paperwork assured, and the logistics in place to deliver medical and other urgent supplies.

Since 25.02.2022 we have been collecting donations, first at home, then as volumes exploded on the premises of a Berlin-based brand. We now have our own warehouse. Just imagine more than 70 vehicles loaded up and dispatched: large cars, vans, buses, and trucks.

We scaled fast through support from volunteers, doctors, companies like yours and well established NGOs, notably Mad.AID’s United4Ukraine initiative from the UK and NorocOlanda Stichting from Holland. We remain open to collaborating with every company or NGO that wants to be part of this umbrella.

Our decentralized collective is incredibly diverse and has immense potential. We are highly motivated. We are well organised, creatively resourceful and are willing to continue donating our time and skills to work effectively and responsibly on our sole purpose: help People displaced by the war in Ukraine.

GOOD TO KNOW:
Our aid has reached various refugee centres in Poland (Szczecin, Warsaw, Krakow, Przemyśl, Budomierz, Poznań, Wrocław, Chełm, Medyka), the Ukrainian border and Lviv. Donations came from all over Germany, and even from Denmark & Switzerland.

After delivering donations, our passenger vehicles helped people fleeing the Ukrainian war on their journey to safety in Germany, where we helped them find accommodation, clothing, baby essentials, hygiene articles, or pets supplies for example. We dynamically expanded the network of partner accommodation facilities from Berlin, to Potsdam, Leipzig to Mecklenburg through private connections & vetted individuals.

Donations from restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets or delivery apps meant fresh warm food for refugee reception centres in Berlin. Preserves were sent into Ukraine. Soon a donation of 30 laptops and many power banks will reach Lviv.

We’ll keep you up to date with our activities via IG @Gemeinsam4UkrainePreviously efforts were documented privately.

A world where children and adults with special needs have access to the same opportunities as others to fulfil their life’s ambitions; a world where we can all live safely with dignity, respect, and quality care. We work towards this vision by developing and executing programs in the Republic of Moldova, the poorest country in Europe. We started with the Medical Aid Delivery program. The program facilitates the transfer of high-quality equipment no longer needed by British hospitals (NHS) to hospitals in dire need of improvement. At the same time, it helps the UK hospitals save the cost of storage or disposal of equipment they no longer need. We went on to establish and operate a UK-standard modern day care and early intervention and rehabilitation centre for children and teenagers with special needs. We aim to Make A Difference.
