My special grandma.

I am walking to remember her.

She was very special to me and all my family. 

Struggling for 10 years with this horrid disease which robbed her of her speech and ability to do anything for herself. She had no recollection of who anyone was. Was unable to attend my wedding and see her grandchildren grow up. She never got to meet her great grandson Elliott and didn’t get to enjoy her retirement with my grandad that she deserved. 

I hope one day there can be some kind of cure or something to help slow the speed that this disease can take over someone’s body and that the small amount I can raise might make a difference to someone else’s loved one.
