Story

We as a family had the biggest shock of our lives on 12th October, when our amazing Mam/Grandma was diagnosed with terminal Pancreatic cancer.

As is often the case with this type of cancer, it was discovered too late to be treated, and had spread to other places. Leaving us devastated at the news that nothing could be done.

Since then, Mam/Grandma has been so brave, and strong and even on the most difficult of days; has remained her beautiful self, kind, gentle and warm.... still thinking of us.

So.... to honour her 75 years of life on her birthday (18th January) Myself, my kids, and some more family members are going to swim for 75 minutes non stop. (Obviously kids can have a break but we will be in that pool for 75 mins) Other family members and hopefully friends will be there cheering us on and keeping an eye on the time.

We are hoping that it will be a positive way to mark her life, her strength and determination, and bring us all closer together, whilst raising money for this charity, now so close to our hearts. 💜

So if you can spare even a pound, we would all be so very greatful. Many thanks in advance. Xxx

Oh and our target of £222 is because her favourite number is 22 as it looks like two swans.... just throwing in an extra swan Haha! Xx
