Gemmas pamper night on self-care week to celebrate life, recovery and the importance of self-care. · 16 November 2018

Join Beat to celebrate life, recovery and the importance of self-care. Do good for yourself and help Beat do good for others by organising a Pamper Night to raise funds. It costs £7,700 to run the Beat Helpline services for one week.

Story

Eating disorders can cause serious harm and may be fatal – anorexia has the highest mortality rate of all mental illnesses.

BEAT the charity helps hundreds of people and many of them are my friends. I have personally suffered for 13 years now, and find charitable organisations the most helpful in keeping me out of hospital.

I want to give a little back and have a lovely cosy pamper night for everyone who wants to join. On a friday night, there will be a few little crafty things thrown in and maybe a bit of a drink... :)

Please support this wonderful charity.
