Evie and Aubree are going to do their first summit walk of Snowdon this month. We discussed doing it for charity as it’s a big achievement. They decided that they wanted to pick a charity that supports marine life as they have a passion for sea animals and their homes. 

They discussed saving the whales as we’ve recently been reading The Whale Watchers. After a little help from a friend and some research they settled on BDMLR as they were in awe of their amazing work and “rescuing whales makes you a super hero”. 

The girls have set themselves a target of £100 but I’m sure they can achieve this and more with a little help from some family and friends.

I’m so proud of the girls love of nature and I want them to see that they have the power to  make a difference.

We are planning on doing the walk week beginning  15th August, we will pick the exact date closer to the time as we want it to be good conditions for the girls.
