Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
This October I will be travelling to Tanzania as an ICS Raleigh international volunteer. Raleigh is a sustainable development organisation with over 30 years of expertise on helping young people to make a lasting change.
During my time in Tanzania, I will be living with a host family. I will be working on 2 different projects whilst I am there for 10 weeks. One is a project called WASH (water sanitation and hygiene) and another is called ICS livelihoods.
The WASH project will focus on improving the communities access to to clean water and sanitation facilities which means we could be setting up hand washing stations, installing or repairing local sanitation facilities such as eco-latrines or girls washrooms and also building or restoring infrastructure such as gravity fed water tanks.
The livelihoods project focuses on helping young people to develop sustainable businesses. As well as this, it also aims to give people the skills needed to get jobs and the access to finance to start their business.
All the money I raise will go into the community and focus on the projects not towards my vaccines, flights, visa, etc. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks once again,
