Brain Tumour Research Verified by JustGiving

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

Dave didn’t show any symptoms of a brain tumour until he had a series of seizures. The seizures themselves were traumatic and scary, but being told you have an inoperable and incurable brain tumour that is going to end your life, is something that no one should have to bear. That brain tumour didn’t just end Dave’s life only six short months later, it completely depleted his quality of life in advance of his death, and shattered mine, and  our daughter’s lives forever.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer yet, since records began in 2002, just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.
