Brompton Bath to Chickenshed Challenge · 12 September 2019

35 of our wonderful supporters will cycle from Bath to Chickenshed (150 miles) on Bromptons as part of our 45th birthday. With Will Butler-Adams (Brompton) and Josh Berger CBE, (ChickenshedWarner Bros/BFI).

Story

I am so lucky! I get to work for a charity and theatre that is so inspiring and uplifting - I don't think I will ever get over it. It is magical and has changed my life.

Please join me in showing your support if you can - you will be helping children, young people and adults to feel nurtured and empowered through our workshops, education courses and shows.

What your support would achieve

£9 would subsidise a place for a disadvantaged young person for a week

£21 would give one-to-one specialist support for children with additional needs

£127 would help provide wheelchair-accessible transport for a young person

Chickenshed is a charity and theatre company founded in 1974. Now in our 45th year, we are celebrating our big birthday by doing something completely different!

We help children, young people and adults, with all abilities and from all backgrounds to feel totally accepted, valued and nurtured through our pioneering workshops, education courses and shows. Our work extends via our North London HQ and our Kensington & Chelsea projects, across London and beyond. We reach over 1,000 individuals every week.

Our goal is to give people a platform so that their voices can be heard. We know that when we include everyone, everyone feels empowered to build their confidence and skills - to go out into the world beyond Chickenshed and become future inclusive leaders in their chosen fields, helping to build a kinder world where everyone is welcome, valued and included.

Thank you for helping us to make that a reality.

"Chickenshed is probably the most important theatre company in the world."
