Charity for Kids aim is to help sick/terminally-ill children by improving their current quality of life around Hastings, Bexhill and Battle. We of course want to help everybody we can but funds are very limited therefore we will focus on areas in which we can make the biggest difference

Story

On October 10th, 12 friends are self funding a trip to Africa to embark on the mammoth task of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa.  This is the highest free standing mountain in the world and stands 19,341 feet above sea level.

We are calling ourselves 'Team Kilimanjaro 2015' and are raising money so that Charity For Kids can buy a hot tub for Edward Tomasetti.

Edward is 4 years old and suffers from Ehlers Danlos Syndrome type III. This is a rare condition that affects Edwards' connective tissue and means that his joints do not function correctly. He suffers from constant pain in his back, knees and ankles and over time (and without the right treatment) Edwards' joints could seize up and he would be unable to walk or use his joints at all.  Consultants have recommended that regular, ongoing hydrotherapy is paramount to strengthen, protect and relieve pain in his sore joints.

Every single penny of the money raised will go to helping Edward. If we exceed the target ,Charity For Kids will use the money to help other local, sick and disabled children.
