So in September I will be going away to volunteer for 10 weeks in Bolivia!

Before that though, I need lots of help with fundraising for the charity that im going with, so here is a bit about it and what the trip involves!

ICS (International Citizen Service) is a UK government-funded development programme for younger people to help fight poverty overseas and in the UK. They work with lots of different organisations such as Tearfund, which is the charity I am volunteering for. 

The type of projects I will be involved in may include:

• Supporting young peoples health and education.
• Helping with local youth, sport or education clubs.
• Increasing people's access to food and clean water.
• Supporting children and teenagers who live and work on the streets

Tearfund is a Christian international aid and development agency working globally to end poverty and injustice, and to restore dignity and hope in some of the world's poorest communities.

The organisation is active in over 50 countries around the world, responding to emergencies and raising the profile of poverty issues.

The money raised helps to make a huge difference for developing countries and allows the charities to continue to do their amazing work.
