Every year Sphere Digital Recruitment choose a charity to support and this year we chose this wonderful children's charity. Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity helps and empowers every seriously ill child to lead a marvellous life. I had signed up to do the Hackney Half Marathon to raise funds which has obviously been postponed. However, I started my training for this in Feb as it will be my 3rd 1/2 and I was determined to beat my last two times. Since lock down I have continued with this programme and running has been my saviour to maintain a positive mindset in all this uncertainty & sadness and helped to clear my mind, get some exercise and focus on my health and wellbeing.

So I decided I would still run a half marathon on the date it was supposed to happen & raise money for the charity but just run locally and by myself! Charities need all the help they can get right now as fundraising efforts have taken a nose dive because of our restrictions on normal everyday life!

Who knows, if we are still in lockdown after I may even start training for a marathon!!! 

Please help me raise money for this lovely charity, they really need it right now and it means there is no backing out of this now :)
